Fixed sorting of dates for Information Records
Information Records in Clooz hold the content information coming from a document or another source. The Information Record differs from a Source record which contains most of the citation information that describes the document or the Repository record that is referring to the facility or an online service where the document was found. in Subject
Subjects are the objects you are gathering information about such as people, buildings, ships, etc. In most cases within Clooz, the Subject will be a person. However, Clooz supports several other Subject types such as businesses, real estate/buildings, ships and artifacts. Editor. -

A Source record in Clooz should be viewed as the higher-level component of one or more source citations. Source citation details are usually included in the citing Information Record. Records Report (always displayed Info Rec pages). -
Reports are now set to system default printer page type on first use of report.

Program Option added to Ask to reset report page type on subsequent uses if not matching system default printer page type.

Fixed several issues with Media
A digital file containing an image, text, spreadsheet, video, audio, or any other format. Media can be attached to various records in Clooz as digital representations of source document content, or as Information Records (as photographs, maps, videos, or audio independent of a specific source document). A screen layout in Clooz that is similar to a grid, but contains a hierarchical structure of expandable groups of rows displayed in a parent-child type arrangement. is now possible if types match. -

Artifacts are one of the Subject types in Clooz. This Subject type is meant to represent physical objects that have some significance within your research or family history. records from another Clooz file.

New features added to Analysis grid under the context menu when right-clicking layouts in the navigation panel of the Analysis tab page. This includes:

Renaming layouts and customizing the hint text associated with each,

Reordering the layouts (within a given data set group),

Setting a preferred layout as the “default” which would be restored when clicking the Reset button (holding shift key while clicking the Reset button will restore to the original Clooz defined layout),

Creating (and removing) additional layouts under each data set group by copying one of the existing layouts.

Additional option control for exporting Information Records to external genealogical files supporting those who prefer a “splitter” type Source definition. These are included both in the Program Options list and can be changed on a pre-export case by clicking the Export Settings button in the export window.

The Analysis Pivot grid
An interactive grid showing various record counts for user defined set of rows and columns. now supports the Description field in Events. Open the fields list to control its availability in the currently displayed layout. -
Thumbnails for Image Information Records (pictures) are now included in Excel file exports.

The Information Record URL field (formerly labeled Source Detail URL) is now displayable on the main list of records. Use the Choose Columns feature to display this column.
